Finished.

Today I have finished my game. I have got everything to work the way I have want it to work, the pictures and words hide when I want them to, the level changes, its just amazing. Scratch hasn't been to bad after all I have com to like it once it works how I want it to. The test plan is all done as well when I get to school on Monday I will have to make a milestone on the GanttProject. 

Game V9 messed up

Today I have been working on my game and have come across a lot of faults. Actually only one but still its big. BYOB wont do what i want it to do. the picture wont go away when the word matches. I have spent the whole period trying to figure this out and I am getting frustrated so yea. I still have to the 1st of september to find this bug and finish my project. #BYOB so frustrating  

Game v8

This has been the most productive period I have had in ITS this assessment. I have almost finished level 1 today I have got the score to change if the word matches correctly to the picture and if not. I have just come to some difficulty at the end of the period the picture wont hide if the word matches correctly to the picture. this problem shall be solved next period.

after every lesson I have a new version of the game. i have got the words to follow the builder sprite but it will not do it how I want it to do it it first goes backwards the starts to follow I cant seem to get it to work how I want it.

got the boulder to fall and go back to the top randomly and also inserted some pictures to match words. I made it ask for the name after choosing Maori or English language instead of asking for the name after clicking start in English language.

BYOB

I am a BYOB Noob and need some practice but I am going not to bad on the project I am on task haven't watched funny gif's in a while so yea I'm on task. trying to figure out how to get one sprite to follow the other. 

costumes and coding

Today I have got all of the costumes for the builder sprite sorted out and have done some coding for the movement of the builder sprite. I didn't think i would be using the broadcast part of code as much but I have.

Today I have just started making my game it is coming along well. I have taught myself how to broadcast and receive on scratch. it is very useful in my project. doing more of my game on Monday.   

Thinking for Tomorrow

today I have set my variables, finished my flowchart algorithms and desk checked.
Tomorrow is where I'm going to start making my game hopefully making the start screen and coding the name input variables.

Sprite Algorithms

Today I have started my Algorithms for the sprites of the game starting with the character sprite algorithm.

After Mr Mac's speech I have realized that I have to write an algorithm for how each sprite is going to work/move. I now have to change my GanttProject so it has changed my schedule and I'm not ahead of plan like I thought I was.   

Game building

I have sorted out my sprites ( I thought i had already done), so I have started making my game. I have only created the start screen so yea.

I have finished my flow chart yay, I had to make a few adjustments to my flow chart that I had forgotten to put in 'show sprites'. I have realized that I am now ahead of schedule so I am going to proceed and do my desk check then go onto making my game on BYOB.

Today I have started writing my algorithm using a flowchart in insp9IE. flowcharts are much harder than I remembered they were but i'm getting used to using flowcharts.

Today I continued with thinking of my levels and also have started getting the pictures for the words to match. this will be finished next period.

Today I have been listing all the words in categories. These words are going to be used in the game for different levels. I yet have to get more words to put in the game here is a taster of the first level. this is the easiest difficulty.

Sprites

Today I was looking at my sprites that I have brainstormed and I was only going to use one but then I thought Why not just use all of them. The player then will be able to choose there character. The player would be more satisfied being who they want and I will give each sprite an unique object.

today I found a lot of pictures I will use in my game as the sprites. next time I will think of all the NZ pictures/words for the educational game. 

Game Research

Today i have reseached some educational games i didn't really find any amazing one's but i found a game that put the words in a box if correct and had to fill up the box. I might use this like fill it up but im not to sure yet.

 this is a storm that came from my mind  I actually never knew my a storm from the mind would look as good as this. it has a taken alot of time and effort for my brainstorm to look this amazing.
